Good food and very conveniently located in Tanasborne. Pork chops and lemongrass pork are good options in this restaurant.
Would definitely recommend this place. -

This place is really delicious, the pho is quite flavorful and you get to choose all your 4 or 5 toppings, it's nice they let you customize your own toppings. And they have nice portion size.
The shrimp and pork / chicken vermicelli noodles dishes are nicely grilled and with fresh ingredients.
Will definitely need to come back to try more dishes -

Good down-home Vietnamese comfort food. I have had their tofu pho w/ veggie broth, tofu vermicelli bowl, fresh rolls, and vegetarian spring rolls. They do have a bit more vegetarian options than most.
Everything is perfectly-cooked and full of savory flavor. I would only change the dressing for rice and noodle bowls to make it more fishy and sweet, rather than soy sauce being the dominant flavor (but that's a preference).
Seems clean from what I gather, and the service is mostly good.
I wasn't a fan of the Vietnamese iced coffee...it had a burnt taste to me. Maybe normal for this beverage but wouldn't order it again. Also not a fan of the $.50 charge for to go orders...cheapo.
Also their logo cracks me up, it's the Laughing Cow kickin' it w/ a distraught-looking chicken in a soup bowl. Unintentionally funny/rando stuff gets cool points from me. -

What Pho Gabo lacks in creativity, they make up in value. The logo and name says it all, you're at a Pho "chicken-beef" joint with good portions for your dollar. Don't expect anything more.
I've tried their bun mang viet duck special, pho, and bun vermicelli with grilled pork dishes and all are good, not great but again generous portions. Maybe the duck could have been a bit more but it was an entire quarter leg albeit small.
When it gets really busy they do get overwhelmed especially weekends. But on a quiet Wednesday early lunch hour, I got my Gabo special in literally 2min after I ordered. On this particular day, the broth was just bland, yet the beef was tender and plentiful. If you order the Gabo special, you can opt out of the raw-egg-in-a-small-bowl-of-broth and ask for a bit more beef and they'll accommodate. I asked a few Viet nationals what the raw egg drop soup deal was and the answer was that at some places in Vietnam, an egg soup symbolizes a more high-end rendition of pho (it doesn't work here in li'l' ol' Hillsboro sorry).
Come here if you're hungry and can deal with a hole in the wall. Go to other Viet joints on days you seek some real kick or deeper flavors in your pho or other noodle soups. -

Ordered through Postmates... Got the salad rolls, beef noodle soup, and lemon chicken vermicelli. The food was really fresh and delicious! And the order came packed nicely. Would definitely order from them again
